BookEnds Welcomes Two New Agents to Our Team

I had two very specific goals on my list this year, one was to find an agent who specializes in nonfiction and another was to focus on building our science fiction and fantasy lists. Since I’m not one to sit around and let goals languish, and since it’s important to jump when an opportunity comes knocking, I am thrilled to announce that BookEnds has added not one, but two agents who I believe will take us many steps closer to these goals.

Today I’m thrilled to welcome both Naomi Davis and Amanda Jain to BookEnds. Previously agents with Inklings Literary Agency, Naomi and Amanda are moving their clients to BookEnds and already they have added their incredible voices to our team.

In addition to representing authors in science fiction and fantasy, Naomi also represents romance, young adult, and middle grade and like the rest of us at BookEnds, she is looking for writing that embraces diversity and confidence through vivid character experiences. Submissions to Naomi should be made through our Query Manager portal at http://QueryMe.Online/NaomiDavis.

Amanda is looking to grow and build the BookEnds nonfiction list, especially in narrative nonfiction. She also represents authors writing romance, mystery, women’s fiction and upmarket fiction. She has a particular interest in historical fiction which I’m looking forward to seeing more of at BookEnds. Submissions to Amanda should be made through our Query Manager portal at http://QueryMe.Online/AmandaJain.

Please join me in welcoming both Amanda and Naomi and watch the blog this week as they each get their day to tell you a little bit more about themselves.

  1. Wow, BookEnds is growing! I’ve no idea what your offices are like, but if you keep growing you’ll need new real estate.

  2. This is great! I have already queried Moe with my fantasy so hope to hear back soon, otherwise I think it would be great for Naomi (fantasy with appeal to both mature YA and adult audiences, romance side plot). Welcome, Amanda and Naomi!
