Welcome to BookEnds, Jennifer Chow!

What book do you wish you had written, and why?

Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

The novel deals with an intriguing mystery and features complex characters, a 1970s timeline, and exquisite writing. Also, it makes me revisit my own childhood experiences with a sharper eye.

If you’re not reading or writing, what would we catch you doing?

Watching a movie, strolling along the beach, or kayaking in waterways

If money were no object, what would be your dream writing location?

I really love writing in sunny So Cal, but a great second choice would be a fairytale cottage in a forest (talking animals a bonus!).

What’s your favorite piece of writing advice you’ve received?

BIC (bottom in chair)

What excites you most about joining the BookEnds family?

The passion of the team in supporting its authors—and the opportunity to rub shoulders with great writers.

What advice would you give to other authors in the query trenches?

Have fun with your writing. Everyone has a unique voice, and the passion for your story will make your query shine.
