BookEnds Literary Agency Welcome to BookEnds, Jocelyn Rish!

Thank you for bringing the offensiveness of my comments to my attention. You’re right. I can and will do better. I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended and I’m sorry it had to be pointed out to me. I am committed to learning from this experience and I’m truly sorry for the hurt I’ve caused.

I particularly apologize to Beth Phelan and the DVPit team.

  1. No idea what this is about. But I do know you’re a good person. Also someone who isn’t afraid to admit when they’re wrong. Good on you! So many people seem to struggle terribly with the word ‘sorry’.

  2. I have no idea what this is referring to, but you have responded with spretzaturra, as they say in Italy.- well-mannered grace under pressure that is found in civilized people. This is the age of rudeness. I wouldn’t take criticism from the Internet too much to heart.

  3. Well golly gosh, they didn’t offend me ‘cos I didn’t see them , but I bet the haranguers are new wavey types with no backbone of their own. Causing offence these days is almost like the weather forecast, ‘And today we will have unintended insults, a wave of indignation will spread meaninglessly over a wide area.’
