Meet Tracy Marchini, The Newest BookEnds Agent

The waiting is always the hardest part when it comes to sharing good news. Today I am thrilled to finally be able to announce the addition of Tracy Marchini to the fabulous BookEnds team.

When I told the team I was bringing Tracy on board the first question Kim asked was whether we’d want to have a beer with her. The answer was of course. I would never bring in a team member otherwise. Tracy is smart, ambitious, passionate and already she fits in like she’s been here forever. You have to love someone who creates her own emojis.

Previously an agent’s assistant with Curtis Brown, Tracy returns to publishing after receiving an MFA in Writing for Children from Simmons College. She has also worked as a freelance editor whose clients include award-winning and bestselling authors.

As an author of books for children and teens herself, her debut picture book, CHICKEN WANTS A NAP, is forthcoming from The Creative Company. She has also been accepted for publication in Highlights Magazine and has won grants from the Highlights Foundation, the Puffin Foundation and La Muse Writer’s Retreat in Southern France.

At BookEnds, Tracy is actively looking for picture book, middle grade and young adult manuscripts across most genres, including contemporary, mysteries, thrillers, magical realism, historical fiction, and non-fiction. Submissions to Tracy can be sent here.

Tracy joins Kim Lionetti, Jessica Alvarez, Moe Ferrara and Beth Campbell at BookEnds. I couldn’t be prouder of this team and everything they do.

More information on all the BookEnds agents, who they are and what they are acquiring can be found on our website.

Today is a great day to celebrate at BookEnds. Please spread the word and help me welcome Tracy.
