#BookEnds20: Happy First BookEnds-versary to Amanda!

Today is my one-year anniversary at BookEnds, huzzah!

When I decided to make the move to a new agency, I made a list of possibilities. There were many on the list, but BookEnds was where I really wanted to be. I had followed Jessica Faust and many of our other agents on Twitter for years, and l loved the energy, enthusiasm, and sense of camaraderie their tweets and blog posts showed. I knew the agents’ experience in the romance and mystery genres would help me expand my list in those areas, and I felt that my interest in historical fiction and nonfiction could help BookEnds expand in those directions.

Now, a year later, I’m grateful every day to work with such a smart, dedicated, funny, and passionate group of agents. We work hard, we have fun, and every day we help authors realize their potential and reach for their goals.

As BookEnds celebrates 20 years of championing authors and their work, I’m grateful to be playing a part in the agency’s success. And I can’t wait to see what the next 20 years has in store for us!
