Sophie Sheumaker is the literary assistant to Tracy Marchini at BookEnds Jr. Before BookEnds, Sophie worked pretty much every job you can think of, from scooping ice cream to decorating cookies to tossing pizzas for her mom’s pizza place. For the past three years, she’s been studying publishing at Emerson College and is looking forward to graduating in the spring of 2023, with plans to continue living in the Boston area. Books have always been her comfort place and when she isn’t drafting essays for class or asking Tracy questions, she can be found flipping through the pages of a smile-inducing romance or a heart-pounding fantasy (and, honestly, everything in between).
