Get Out the Vote #Vote

  • By: Jessica Faust | Date: Nov 07 2017

A friendly reminder to all my readers who are US citizens. Today is the day to get out there and let your voice be heard. Get out and vote. It’s important, it matters, and even if you don’t have any big races happening in your area, there are people on that ballot running to gain the power to make decisions that will impact your life.

Local elections are just as important as national elections. They decide how your tax money will be spent, whether you’ll get garbage service or new sidewalks, and what kind of schools the children in your town will attend. The children who, in the wise words of Whitney Houston, are our future. (I couldn’t resist).

I’m accepting no excuses today for not voting and to make this as excuse-free as possible, here are some easy links:

If you don’t know where to vote click over to Head Count to find exactly where you need to go.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote then now is the day. Don’t miss another election, ever. Head Count again will help you with that.

If you don’t know what you’re voting for. This is the spot.

Making your voice heard is important. Please, please do this. No excuses.
