This heartwarming Christmas story is particularly special to me because it’s the culmination of a professional and personal relationship with the author that spanned more than a decade. I was Terri’s editor back when I was at Harlequin and we stayed in touch once I moved on. So when Beth Adams, an editor at Howard Books, mentioned she was looking for a Christmas book featuring a dog, I immediately thought of Terri and reached out to her.
