Fantasy, usually sprinkled with a good dose of horror
Agent:

Why BookEnds?
What drew me to BookEnds was the emphasis placed on inclusivity, especially during the videos about the call. What cemented my decision to work with BookEnds was the excitement and vision Jenissa brought to the call.
What genres do you write? Read?
I’ll read just about anything as long as it’s interesting. I do have a soft spot for darker fantasy but no real preference. As for writing, I tend to lean more towards horror and fantasy equally, but that’s not to say there isn’t a romance or two knocking around in my head.
Plotter or pantster?
Pantser and proud. My stories always appear from nowhere. The plot usually takes form as I go.
Synopses, love them or hate ‘em?
Hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. I think I spent more time writing my synopsis than I spent doing anything else (except writing the book).
Do you have a writing playlist or a vision board? If so, what’s on them?
I tend to lean towards artists like Imagine Dragons, Grandson, and Jacob Banks while writing, though I’ve lately been using the Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
Drink of choice when writing? When not writing?
I’m easily distracted, so the most I’ll have when I’m in the mood to write is water. Otherwise, I’d have to say tea.
Day or Night writer?
Definitely day. Early mornings are my jam.
Twitter or Instagram? Or Facebook? Where can we find you?
I’m only on Twitter at the moment, though that could change.
If you could meet any author, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why?
I would have loved to meet Toni Morrison. I grew up on her stories, and Beloved is one of those books that I will never ever forget. She shaped the author that I am today.
