A quick warning to writers and the publishing community regarding a person or group of people impersonating BookEnds and our agents.
It seems these people are contacting (usually) self-published authors and sending a fraudulent contract in the name of BookEnds. If you feel you might have been approached in this way please contact us at info@bookendsliterary.com. Please also let us know if you have any idea of how the scammers may have found you, so that we can spread that information.
No agents from BookEnds will ever ask for money or a reading fee upfront. Please also note that all emails from BookEnds will end in @bookendsliterary.com – if an email comes from another address it is likely fraudulent. Please also be aware that they occasionally choose email addresses that look very similar to the correct email address, so look closely to make sure all of the characters are correct.
