Layla Fallah-Cyphert is the marketing manager at BookEnds and the literary assistant to Emily Forney and James McGowan. Layla is a Kurdish-Canadian author, artist, and advocate for diverse storytellers. As Co-Director of the PB Rising Stars Mentorship Program and Marketing Manager at BookEnds Literary Agency, Layla is dedicated to uplifting both emerging and established voices in publishing. When they’re not reading or editing manuscripts, you can find Layla painting Kurdistan, planting seeds, or collecting picture books from the public library.
